|Happy Spring everyone!|
Valentine's Day WhouffleA lot of the other teachers hated Valentine's Day because of the distractions it caused, but Clara thought it was rather sweet. All the students walking around with flowers and cards, smiling and laughing - everyone just generally happy. Of course, there were those who didn't enjoy it quite as much, but even they couldn't deny the atmosphere of the day.Clair-Oswin-Oswald
The bell rang for the end of class and the start of lunch, and the students started packing up. At her desk, Clara started gathering together the mess of test papers she'd been marking.
"Remember, for homework," she called over the ruckus of movement. "Read pages 23 to 45, ready to discuss next lesson."
There were a few groans from the students as they filed out of the classroom, but Clara expected it from this particular class. Getting to her feet and stretching, she began to pack her stuff away. She had one more class after lunch, but that was half an hour away. She pulled on a cardigan over her blue scoop-neck dress and picked up her
Caldonia Just another day in the life of the Ponds, stranded on an alien planet... It's not always a disaster.Betawhofic
They’d landed on the planet Caledonia, a surprisingly sunny place, considering it had been named after Scotland, but one with a nice heathery landscape, cliffs, rocky beaches, and brisk spring winds.
Amy and Rory had taken a walk, the Doctor assured them there were no aggressive natives or dangerous fauna. Going from his track record on that, Rory had looked at River and gotten a nod that this time he was right.
The Doctor and River had stayed behind to argue over how to repair the Tardis, which had landed them here by mistake, but fortuitously.
Amy and Rory strolled back a few hours later, considering that the obligatory sparks and fires and yelling would be over by now.
They climbed up the grassy knoll where the Tardis was parked to find River sitting in the grass. She didn’t see them at first. She was crooning a soft lullaby, and her hand was tracing the Doctor&
Hot HandsRiver and the Doctor's relationship is very timey-wimey. Sometimes she's the older in their relationship, sometimes he is. But one thing is for sure, it's always a surprise, and unexpectedly, full of hidden rewards...Betawhofic
The Doctor was alone in the Tardis, happily working on the console. He felt a hand grip his thigh.
He jumped up, hitting his head on the underside of the console and scrambled out, crabwalking sideways frantically away from that grasping hand.
He stared. “River!”
His curly haired wife grinned at him, her hand still on his thigh. “Hello, Sweetie.”
He hyperventilated and lay back down on the glass floor, puffing. “Don’t do that to me!”
Her hot hand petted his thigh. “Sorry, Sweetie, I couldn’t resist.”
“What are you doing here?” He was trying to ignore the feel of her hot little hand on his thigh. He swiveled his eyes down to her, looking her up and down, trying to gauge how old she was th
Doctor Who: The First QuestionIt was morning, somewhere, probably; and Amy Pond wandered into the TARDIS console room suppressing a yawn.BasiliskRules
The Doctor was nowhere to be seen, but then, suddenly, there was a loud metallic, rumbling noise and a dirty hand holding a screwdriver popped up from underneath the console, swiftly followed by the disheveled upper half of a body.
“There, fixed it! Okay now?!”
The Doctor emerged completely from the impossibly small space he had squeezed himself into, and stumbled to support himself on the railing, panting and with an exasperated expression on his face. However, at her sight, he cheered up immediately.
“Amy, at last! Why do you humans need so many hours of sleep, I’ll never know!”
“Actually we don’t”, she countered. “It’s just that we don’t normally spend so much time running for our lives from aliens and monsters. Oh, and we are not going to that planet ever again”, she added.
“Amy, I pro
